Upon setting up Cookie Saver for your website, you will need to add two records to your DNS setup. One record for handling the traffic and one record for validating the SSL certificate that we automatically set up. This ensures that traffic is send over a secure connection, HTTPS.
The following illustrates how the CNAME records will be showed to you in your Cookie Saver account. You will also receive an email with similar instructions, that you can simply forward to your IT dept if in doubt how to do it.
Note that depending on your DNS provider, the changes may take a couple of hours to take effect. Cookie Saver will automatically validate that everything is setup correct, however, if the the DNS changes takes to long to go through, you may need to log in to your Cookie Saver account, find your setup and click the Validate button.
